This is another recipe from the Blue Chair Jam Cookbook. It is amazing served with a nice soft cheese. I also love to use it with meatloaf.
I think this would be an amazing hostess gift. It is definitely not something most kitchens have in their pantry.
Here is the recipe below.
I was searching the fridge this afternoon hoping for an inspiration for dinner. I found last week’s roasted tomatoes along with last month’s garlic confit. I had some Buffalo Mozzarella as well as some fresh basil in the garden. This is a new take on Pasta alla checca.
This recipe is a perfect example of what you can do if you have some great prepared ingredients on hand.
I used the tomato/olive oil from the roasted tomatoes in lieu of regular olive oil.
Just cook some penne and toss the sauce with the drained warm pasta.
Dinner is served.
I received some fresh strawberries in my farm box this week. I know the recipe below calls for dried strawberries, but I used my fresh strawberries which I just cut into small pieces.
I inhaled three fresh out of the oven and still warm.
